Psych test delays trial of man accused in death of stepdaughter

A Calgary man will undergo a psychiatric assessment, delaying his murder trial.

Bradley Wade Rietz is facing first degree murder charges in the death of his 17-year-old stepdaughter in Jan. 2010.

Brittney McInnis’ body was found stuffed in a box spring by her aunt just hours after police searched the family home.

The Calgary Sun reports, Rietz’s trial was set to go before a jury next Monday, but will now be delayed up to a month while he is tested for a mental disorder.
