S.E. Calgary garage fire causes extensive damage to car

A car was extensively damaged after a garage fire in the city’s southeast Thursday evening.
Fire crews doused the blaze that fully engulfed a double detached garage in the 100-block of Penmeadows Place southeast.
They were able to remove a motorcycle but the other car inside was badly damaged.
The home adjacent to it received minor heat damage to the exterior.
There were four people inside the home at the time, but luckily no one was injured.
The cause of the blaze is unknown.
