The head of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation questions whether spending nearly a million dollars on a survey was worth it for taxpayers.
Scott Hennig tells the Calgary Sun, he encouraged supporters to participate but says ‘most’ found it to be a waste of time with ‘confusing’ and ‘pointless’ questions.
Alderman Andre Chabot admits the results didn’t heavily influence the budget and says they probably could have done a better job educating the public at less cost.
