Luxury condo unit breaks Calgary record

A luxury condo sold in Calgary has broken a record for the most expensive unit ever sold in the city, and it hasn’t even been built yet.
The 5,200 square foot unit sold for $8.3-million at a private showing for the planned building called “The River.”
Construction is scheduled to start this spring at the corner of 26th Avenue and 1st Street S.W. along the Elbow River.
It will feature such amenities as a private massage room, gourmet chef’s prep kitchen, and pet grooming and washing facilities.
