RCMP continue manhunt for Sawyer Robison

Tips from across Alberta continue to come in to investigators as RCMP look for a person of interest in Tuesday’s Killam shootings.
Mounties have classified 27-year-old Sawyer Clarke Robison as armed and dangerous.
A witness spotted the man leaving a rural residence before gunfire erupted from one of two homes on the property.
Two officers were shot and wounded in the exchange of gunfire and are recovering in Edmonton hospitals.
A full-time photographer by trade, Robison’s website says he works throughout the province for clothing designers, music, model portfolios, catalogue/magazine work and original portraiture.
Camrose guitarist Robert Renman played in a band with Robison, called Myra Marshall, and says the whole situation is crazy.
In a written statement on the band’s website, Renman writes, “For you reporters – I have not seen Sawyer in years, and I don’t have anything to say other than he was a good drummer.”
An employee at the Lougheed Hotel Bar tells The Calgary Sun he was Facebook friends with Robison until his account disappeared.
The last time he saw him was in November when Robison had filled in for a guitarist during a live music night.
Neighbour Vern Snethun has known the 27-year-old since he was 10 and describes him as a very personable and calm individual.
“Sawyer was their only child and he was always around them and they did a lot of things together,” he says. “They rode bikes together; they were in a band so they were very family-oriented.”
At this point, police say they are unsure of his whereabouts and have received several leads pointing to locations in central and northern Alberta.
Sgt. Patrick Webb is urging Robison to contact the nearest detachment and adds at this point they only want to talk with him.
Webb says he is not a suspect, only a person of interest and they have questions for him.
He says Robison is not a danger to the public but investigators warn he should not be approached.
