A political decision made by U.S. President Barack Obama in November is now hurting his chances of being re-elected, according to a Globe and Mail columnist.
Konrad Yakabuski says Obama’s decision to pan the Keystone XL pipeline, at least temporarily, has allowed his opponents to jump all over him for escalating gas prices south of the border.
A new poll from ABC News and the Washington Post shows 65 per cent of Americans disapprove of the president’s handling of gas prices which now average $3.80 a gallon.
