New possible CTrain routes for north-central line

City bureaucrats are starting over on a north-central C-Train route.
Council had approved a line that would have run beside the Calgary Zoo then through the Nose Creek Valley area back in 2010.
But a recent survey found that residents were concerned the route didn’t run close enough to highly populated areas.
A new two-year study is being launched that will look at Edmonton Trail and Centre Street as possible alternatives.
The Calgary Sun reports the cost of the study will be about $200,000.
