Registration open for All Sport One Day event

Online registration is open for the fourth annual all sport one day event set for June 16th.

However, if you want your 6-9 year old to be part of it, you better get busy.

Chair Mike Urquhart says the event has grown by nearly five hundred per cent since its launch four years ago.

“When we did the first event, around four hundred kids came and had a great time.  I think, through word-of-mouth the partner facilities have continued to come on board year after year and the kids, they see the great activities you can participate in, they get excited, they keep coming.   And the sport organizations have really stepped up,” says Urquhart.

All Sport One Day is a Sport Calgary initiative that gives kids the chance to try two new sports for free.

It’s anything from cricket to broom ball.

All Sport One Day will be spread across ten city facilities and over 40 sport organizations.
