Hit and run at popular Calgary nightspot

A man is in serious but stable condition after a hit-and-run in the parking lot of The Back Alley nightclub Sunday morning.
Police say the victim was hit by a car just after 2 a.m., shortly after a brawl outside the bar which the victim was apparently involved in.
Duty inspector Paul Stacey says officers have found the vehicle involved but are still hunting for the man behind the wheel.
“There was damage on the vehicle consistent with someone being run over so we’re pretty confident the driver would have known they hit somebody, yet drove away anyway,” explains Stacey.
Stacey says investigators have a good idea who was driving of the vehicle.
