A robber is on the loose after holding up a Bank of Montreal branch Saturday afternoon.
Duty inspector Darren Leggatt said police were called to the 9600 block of Macleod Trail South around 4:00 p.m.
“No one was injured, a weapon was indicated, but none was seen and the suspect allegedly left the premises on foot,” he said. “Despite efforts by patrol officers in District 6, our canine unit and our HAWC-1 helicopter, no suspect was located in the immediate area.”
The culprit is a white man in his 20s, with a slim build and about six feet tall.
