WinSport Canada says it’s extremely disappointed by city council’s decision to turn down a multi-million dollar offer to purchase a piece of land near Paskapoo Slopes.
The sports agency wanted to sell the parcel of land to the city as parkland, but council decided there wasn’t enough money for the idea.
In a release, WinSport says it had worked on the proposal for three years and is back at square one.
Last month, the city turned down the company’s proposal to build a major big-box style retail development on the site.
