Two new schools opening in Alberta

Students heading back to school in a couple of small communities will be walking in to brand new buildings this September.

In Okotoks, Westmount School gets the red carpet treatment Thursday with an official grand opening featuring Minister of Education, Jeff Johnson.

Westmount will host students from kindergarten through Grade 9 and can hold up to 700 kids.

Also getting a new school is the community of Langdon.

Sarah Thompson School can hold up to 450 students and will start with Kindergarten through Grade 4, adding Grade 5 students in 2013.
