Home invasion in Taradale

Two suspects are on the loose following a Sunday night home invasion in the northeast community of Taradale.
Duty Inspector Craig Skelton the men were armed and were wearing masks when they forced their way into the home.
“The investigation is still early, but investigators are satisfied that this was not a random home invasion,” says Skelton, “the victims were specifically targeted.
It happened at a home on Tarawood Road just after 10:00 p.m. with the would-be thieves demanding money from the victim though police say the suspects left empty handed.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
