Bowness sexual assault

Calgary Police are investigating another sexual assault from a bicycle, this time in Bowness.
Constable Ryan Johnson tells 660News it happened on Thursday afternoon at 4:30 while a woman was walking along Bow Crescent northwest.
“The victim was walking eastbound when she was grabbed from behind by a young male on a pedal bike,” he says.
Johnson says the man groped her buttocks before continuing eastbound.
He’s described as 18 to 20 years old, with a thin build and caramel-coloured hair.
The suspect was wearing a baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a white short-sleeve T-shirt and black “board shorts” with writing across the back.
Johnson says the suspect’s believed to have been riding a bicycle with a small frame at the time of the incident.
“It was very unwanted by the victim, even if it was a prank or a joke, it was definitely not appropriate in nature,” he adds.
Investigators feel this incident isn’t related to other cases around the city.
This is the second such attack from a bicycle in the last week after a woman in Cedarbrae was reportedly groped by a naked man.
