The second of three debates between the two men vying for the White House’s top job goes Tuesday night at Hofstra University in suburban New York.
U.S. President Barack Obama and Republican rival Mitt Romney will field questions from 80 selected uncommitted voters, during the town-hall-style debate.
Most political observers say the pressure is Obama, who turned in a lacklustre performance against Romney in the last time they went head-to-head.
Support for Romney has been on the rise since the first debate, with many now predicting the closest U.S. Presidential race in recent history.
Americans head to the polls November 6th.
Tonight’s debate will be carried live on most U.S. television networks, starting at 7 p.m. Calgary time.
