A huge Norwalk virus outbreak has hit the United Kingdom.
Health officials said more than 660,000 people have come down with the bug, which causes severe vomiting.
The outbreak has also struck earlier than usual, with cases running at a level normally seen about a month later in the season.
Most of the people who have caught the virus are in long-term care homes and hospitals.
