Some animals able to return home to zoo

Some scared animals are returning home; Trish Exton-Parder with the Calgary Zoo says engineers have been able to make some assessments of the animal enclosures.

“A number of the animal habitats have proven to not have structural damage,” she says.  We’ve been able to go in with the animal care team, and return some of them to the animal enclosures, which is fantastic at this stage of the game.”

Exton-Parder says they still do not have a place for the tigers, but they could be back in a couple of days.

The giraffes that were the focus of much attention earlier in the week are doing okay.
