Bridge work at Stoney Trail and Deerfoot

Drivers in the deep south should get ready for some headaches.

Overnight construction starts Monday night for the interchange at Highway 22X and Deerfoot Trail.

This week from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m., Highway 22X will be down to one lane in each direction between Deerfoot and east of the McKenzie/Cranston intersection.

Crews will be pouring concrete on the bridge and speed limits will be reduced to 50 km/h in the area.
