Calgary’s newest millionaire says he was in tears when he found out he had won the Western Max Lotto.
Ron Jarton says he bought his ticket at the 7-Eleven on MacLeod Trail SE, the day of the draw.
When he checked his ticket he thought he’d won $100,000, not $1-million.
The Calgary Sun reports, when the clerk scanned it, he almost had a heart attack.
Jarton’s big question now: “How much is a ticket to the moon?”
