Six Calgary principals honoured

Six Calgary principals have been given a major honour.
The Learning Partnership announced Canada’s Outstanding Prinicpals’ for 2014 and six of the eight Alberta winners are from our city.
The principals were nominated by peers before being brought before a national selection committee who selected the final winners.
Each winner becomes a member of the learning partnerships National Academy of Canada’s Outstanding Principles and will head to an executive leadership training program at the University of Toronto next month.
The other two winners from Alberta hailed from Ardrossan and High River.
In the nine years of the program, 260 administrators have been honoured.
