Alberta Tourism resolves camping reservation glitch

A glitch in the provincial camping reservation system has been resolved and it will start accepting group reservations Friday.

The system was supposed to open on Monday, but the tech trouble delayed the start.

Alberta Tourism and Parks Spokesman Tim Chamberlain told 660News the technical issues have been resolved and are confident in Friday’s opening.

Chamberlain said last year the system saw 120,000 people reserve their spots.

Regular camping reservations begin next Tuesday, while comfort camping reservations can be made starting February 24th.
