Expo Latino wraps up 2014 festival

Expo Latino is spicing up Prince’s Island for the third and final day.
Grupo Mania was one of the acts entertaining the crowd at the festival Saturday night.
The 18th annual event– the largest of its kind in Western Canada–attracts thousands each year.
Carmen Galvez with the festival says there are a lot of dancing, entertainment and world class performances.
“It’s been great. Even though it’s been a little bit cold you can keep warm at Expo Latin because you’re always dancing! The caliber of artists is exceptional this year, it’s just phenomenal. Artists coming down, wanting to be here–a lot of Grammy nominees, Latin artists as well as Juno nominees and Juno award winners as well as Grammy Latin style award winners,” raves Galvez.
The entertainment kicks off at 11 a.m. Sunday morning and the festival wraps up at 9:30 p.m.
