The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra is looking for audience participation in the Sing-Along Messiah at the Jack Singer Concert Hall Sunday afternoon.
Conductor Nicholas McGegan tells 660News it’s a unique experience.
‘It is tremendously exciting,” McGegan said. “So often an audience, for a concert, is expected to sit there very quietly and show their enthusiasm by clapping at various intervals. This is a much more informal event.”
The show gets underway at 2:00 p.m. Doors open at 1 p.m.
Non-perishable food items will be collected in the lobby before the performance to support the Inter-Faith Food Bank
