Stevie Wonder to play Calgary Stampede

A pioneer of Motown will be hitting the stage at this year’s Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth.
The 2015 Virgin Mobile Stampede Concert Series welcomes Stevie Wonder on July 12 at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
At the age of 13, Wonder became the youngest recording artist to achieve a number one single with “Fingertips Part 2”.
Since then he’s amassed 49 Top 40 singles, 32 number one singles, and sold over 100 million records.
Wonder is also a U.N. Messenger of Peace, advocating for persons with disabilities.
Tickets for the show go on sale May 23, with a pre-sale May 21 and 22.
