Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup

The Chicago Blackhawks are once again Stanley Cup champions.

Chicago beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup final for a 4-2 series victory.

Duncan Keith, Patrick Kane had the goals for Chicago while Corey Crawford posted the shutout. Keith was also named the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy, as playoff MVP.

It’s the third time in the last six seasons that Chicago has lifted the trophy — but first time in 77 years to clinch the championship on their home ice.
