A little girl has died as a result of a crash in northern Alberta.
The collision happened at approximately 5:55 PM near the community of Nampa, AB at the intersection of Highway 2 and Township Rd. 810, southeast of Peace River.
RCMP report the highway was experiencing foggy conditions at the time.
A westbound pickup truck reportedly ran a stop sign, hitting a northbound semi.
A 34 year old woman driving the truck and 3 young girls under the age of seven were transported to hospital; only the driver suffered serious injuries.
A fourth girl was ejected from the vehicle and died on scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the semi suffered no physical injuries.
