Shaw eliminates ‘less than 200’ positions

Shaw is the latest company to announce a round of layoffs.
A release from VP of Communications and Public Relations, Chethan Lakshman says ‘less than 200’ positions have been eliminated because of the realignment of its senior leadership team, announced last month.
The release goes on to say “We deeply value the experience, knowledge and leadership they brought to our company over the years and we sincerely thank them for their contributions.”
It’s not known how many of those positions are in Calgary.
