Grills fire up for Calgary Ribfest

Something’s cooking at Eau Claire Market Thursday.

The Calgary Ribfest kicks off at 11 a.m. with five different barbecue joints firing up their grills.

There will also be quite a few live bands, keeping the party going, until things wrap up on Sunday.

Admission is free but the ribs are not, and donations are welcome to support Kiwanis Kids.

Look out for 660’s Mike Tarasko who will be taste testing some of the grub as an official judge for the Best in Rib competition.
