Step into a winter wonderland and take a walk to see the best Christmas light displays in Calgary.
An online interactive map will help guide you to the best ones across the city.
It’s all thanks to a Calgary couple who wants to spread holiday cheer.
Silvana Stoesser and her husband, Christian, decided to take over the website after the previous owner shut it down.
“We were participants on that website, so after nothing happened over the last two years we decided to put up a new website so now it’s lightenupcalgary.ca.”
Stoesser said the response has been incredible.
“It has been amazing, so we’ve had so far almost 15 thousand people on our website in those four weeks.”
Her home in Deer Run features a big display with about eighteen thousand lights, a number of inflatables and some homemade structures.
