CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary Transit is sending a warning to customers after being made aware of a site selling fraudulent passes online.
“We were notified of the website on Twitter,” said Josh Stephen, spokesperson for Calgary Transit. “From that we thought we should get out in front of this and let our customers know the appropriate places where they can buy official fare and where the approved vendors are, just to remind them so there are no issues with their fare.”
They want to remind customers that the only approved online vendor is cityonline.calgary.ca.
You may also purchase passes from many convenience and grocery stores, as well as Macs, 7-11, Safeway, and Co-op.
