CALGARY (660 NEWS) – It appears Albertans have already made up their minds in this election at least if advance polls are any indication.
Elections Alberta says that around 140,000 people cast a ballot on the first day of advance polls on Tuesday.
That’s already more than half the number of voters that marked a ballot early in the 2015 provincial election.
On day one of the advance polls then, around 58,000 voted.
In Calgary, some locations, particularly at busy centres like major malls, saw some pretty big lines, while other polling stations were fairly quiet.
Advance voting remains open until Sat. April 13.
