Police respond to reports of shooting near Calgary Drop-In Centre

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police are looking for a man and a woman after a shooting near the Drop-In Centre in the downtown core.
Emergency crews arrived near Riverfront Avenue and 4 Avenue S.E. Monday afternoon where they found a woman in medical distress and rushed her to hospital in serious, but stable condition.
Multiple roads were closed for a couple of hours while police investigated, they included Dermot Baldwin Way and Riverfront Avenue between 4 Avenue and 6 Avenue.
A witness tells 660 NEWS the HAWCS helicopter was circling overhead in Bridgeland.
