CALGARY (660 NEWS) – There will be no 50/50 raffle when the Calgary Flames take to the ice on Tuesday.
The Calgary Flames Foundation has postponed the draw for game one of the playoff round against the Dallas Stars.
The foundation said on its Twitter page that “due to unforeseen circumstances, the online raffle is being postponed until further notice.
“We will continue to work alongside our software partner to enhance our system and ensure we can deliver a positive experience for Flames fans.”
This comes after the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation put a pause on its record-setting 50/50 draw after several technical issues.
The Oilers Foundation said its technology providers’ servers were overwhelmed with requests to purchase tickets since last Friday.
