CALGARY – Calgary Transit says its seating arrangements will be back to normal beginning Monday.
Buses and CTrains have recently had some seats blocked off to encourage social distancing while riding public transit.
#CTRiders Starting Aug. 17, we are removing seating restrictions on our buses and CTrains and returning to full seated capacity. The face coverings bylaw will help keep customers safe when they can’t maintain distance between each other. Info: https://t.co/uKksVSrPzC pic.twitter.com/Czw0gqcbo4

But now with the city’s mask bylaw in place, Calgary Transit says it will be going back up to full capacity seating.
The city has seen a drop off in ridership over the last few months as more Calgarians work from home.
