High River drive-in theatre to open this weekend

HIGH RIVER (660 NEWS) – If you yearn for a good old night at the drive-in, you can starting this weekend.

The High River Sunset Drive-In Theatre will open to the public starting Saturday night with a double feature.

The theatre will be showing the classic Disney film “Herbie goes to Monte Carlo” and the 1981 documentary “The Devil At Your Heels.”

The owners of the drive-in said they are still working with movie studios on bringing in more films due to restrictions on licensing.

Food trucks will also be on-site during the shows and tickets can only be purchased online.
