Canada’s Neil Donell opens up on becoming Chicago lead vocalist

Chicago, the legendary rock and roll band with horns has been pumping out the hits for over 50 years.

In 2018, Canadian vocalist Neil Donell got the call to replace Jeff Coffey on lead vocals and he jumped at the chance.

Donell, who’s originally from Montreal but moved to Toronto in the mid-1980s has worked extensively as a session musician and has been nominated for several Juno Awards.

Donell recently took some time from his busy touring schedule with Chicago to sit down with Todd Kaufman…

Chicago was last in Calgary in 2019 and Donell says they will likely be back again next year.
