Man stabbed in back at Saddletowne C-Train, suspect in custody

A man was stabbed in the back at the Saddletowne C-Train station in the city’s northeast early Sunday morning.

Calgary police say a man walked into the District 5 police office around 3:30 a.m. reporting he had been stabbed in the back.

Officers took one man into custody after reviewing Calgary Transit’s CCTV footage. The suspect was allegedly still at the C-Train station.

CPS say the stabbing victim is in stable condition.

Police have not confirmed if the suspect has been charged, or if the two men knew each other.
