Calgary Stampede reveals poster for 2022

The poster for the 2022 Calgary Stampede has been revealed, and the countdown to the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth is on.
Stampede president Steve McDonough unveiled the poster, designed by 19-year-old artist Kane Pendry of Edmonton.

The poster captures the spirit of the rodeo’s well-known relay races.

McDonough said 2022’s festivities will not be scaled back like last year, and it will be a full-fledged event like it was before the pandemic hit.

COVID restrictions hampered Stampede 2021, which offered limited attractions, cancelled chuckwagon races, and a virtual-only parade.
McDonough says there will be a full parade through downtown to kick off the Stampede on July 8.
