Calgary youth hiring fair makes return after two year long pandemic delay

The youth hiring fair is back. The Youth Hiring Fair is an employment networking event for youth looking for free career advice and job-related services.
IN ONE WEEK! The Youth Employment Centre (YEC) is reopening the doors to drop-in services. Youth ages 15-24 drop by Monday – Friday from 8 – 4 p.m.
Youth are no longer required to book an appointment online.

One of the best places for young people to get a job is this annual event that attracts nearly 5,000 job seekers looking for part-time, full-time, casual, and seasonal summer positions, according to the Calgary Youth Employment Centre (YEC).
After being cancelled because of COVID-19 for the last two years it’s finally happening tomorrow.

If you’re between the ages of 15 and 24 you can head to the Stampede Park’s “Big Four Building” and check out what’s on offer.
Job seekers can talk to employers from a variety of industries including recreation and hospitality.
The YEC says they’ll have nearly 90 employers there.
The jobs are advertised in everything from recreation and customer service to hospitality and financial services.
Doors to the fair open at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
