The zoo says Moshi was born in-house.
The birthday giraffe is the youngest member of the zoo’s giraffe tower.
In addition, she enjoys a calm personality, and an inquisitive nature.
‘Safari Through the African Savannah’
Giraffes are found in the zoo’s “African savannah” and as you “safari through the African savannah ” and circle its massive baobab tree, you’ll see prickly porcupines, busy meerkats, snakes, tall giraffes, and swimming hippos.
The zoo says on their website they open the building’s airplane-hangar doors in the summer to connect the “building to the outdoor habitats – savannah style – with zebras, giraffes and ostriches all roaming together.”
