Calgary CTrain derailment leads to NW commuter delays
Calgary Transit says it experienced a “track circuit issue” on Friday afternoon affecting CTrain service in the city’s northwest.
The City of Calgary says one of the wheels on one of the three cars “slipped off the tracks.”
At one point, the Dalhousie Station was shut down completely.

Shuttle buses were also brought in to run between the Brentwood and Crowfoot stations.
EMS says no injuries have been reported.
The Redline resumed normal service just after 8:30 p.m.
