A Calgary driver likely won’t be behind the wheel of a vehicle for sometime, after they were stopped going more than double the speed limit.
Calgary police say last Wednesday, July 19, officers stopped a 2002 BMW going 202 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Crowchild Trail N.W., around 10 p.m.
On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at approximately 10 p.m., we stopped a 2002 BMW for driving 202 km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone on Crowchild Trail N.W..

They say the 22-year-old driver was arrested for dangerous driving under the Criminal Code and must attend a mandatory court appearance in August.
