Alberta opens booking for COVID-19, Influenza vaccines Tuesday

Many sleeves will be rolled up in the weeks ahead.
Starting Tuesday, appointments can be made to get a COVID-19 vaccine as well as flu shots.

Fall sickness season is returning rapidly, with some Alberta hospitals reinstituting mandatory masking for employees to curb the spread.
The latest reported data from the week of Sept. 24-30 has 730 reported cases of COVID-19, 20 cases of Influenza, and 15 cases of RSV in the province.

Appointments can be made online, via 811 or at a local pharmacy.
Though booking starts Oct. 10, appointments aren’t available until Oct. 16.
