Calgary police looking for teen suspects in CTrain robbery, assault

Calgary police are looking to identify two teenagers thought to be a part of a group that robbed a group of boys on a CTrain, and assaulted a Good Samaritan who tried to help.
Around 2:15 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2, investigators say five teenagers were on a westbound CTrain at First Street West Station when they robbed two young boys of their cellphones and a sweater.
Police say when another rider tried to help and get the items back, she was physically assaulted.
The teenagers involved in the robbery and assault include three girls and two boys, according to investigators.
They sale the girls have been identified, but police are still looking for the boys.
Due to privacy legislation and the Youth Criminal Justice Act, investigators are not able to provide pictures of the teenagers’ faces.
However, they have released CCTV images of the clothing they were wearing at the time of the offence.
The first suspect was wearing a light-coloured hoodie with the hood up underneath a red puffer jacket, with black jeans and distinctive white with red runners and black laces, according to police.
He’s around 5’10” tall, with a slim build and brown, winged hair, investigators add.
The second teen was wearing a crossbody bag over a white T-shirt under a black zip up sweater with a black vest and blue jeans.
Police say he’s around 6′ tall with a slim build and longer, dark hair.
