Stabbing in SE Calgary sends one to hospital

A stabbing in the city’s southeast Friday left one person in life-threatening condition.

Officers say the victim was discovered on 17 Avenue and 40 Street around 9:30 p.m.

EMS took the victim to Foothills Medical Centre in serious, life-threatening condition.

Calgary police Sgt. Keith Shufelt said the victim’s condition has been upgraded to stable, but he has not been cooperating with investigators seeking the attacker.
