A man was left with serious injuries after he was stabbed in Calgary’s northeast Tuesday night, police tell CityNews.
A member of the Calgary Police Service (CPS) says the victim — a man in his 30s — travelled several blocks to the Whitehorn LRT Station after being hurt.
It’s believed the man took the bus to the station after the attack, where he received treatment from EMS.
“He was initially transported in life threatening condition but was later upgraded to stable condition,” the officer said.
The incident happened a little after 9 p.m. Tuesday, police say.
Officers were able to find the suspect, a man in his late 20s, and arrested him.
The investigation is ongoing and police haven’t provided any other details.
