A mechanical problem with the CTrain caused commuters to run behind schedule Tuesday morning.
Jenn Boyer with Calgary Transit told CityNews there was timeline for when the problem would be fixed, but crews are worked on it for several hours.
Issues were first reported just after 7 a.m. Wednesday and were reportedly fixed just before 9:30 a.m.
“We are having an issue with the automatic switch on the west end of downtown, which means we’re manually having to control the train,” Boyer previously explained. “We’re working hard to get it fixed right away so we minimize delays for the morning commute.”

There is a 10-minute delay in some cases.
Trains were still moving, and shuttle buses weren’t activated.
As for problems reported on transit a few weeks ago, it’s believe this latest issue is unrelated.
