Calgary Deerfoot Trail closing at night for spring cleaning
Starting Monday night at 8pm, northbound Deerfoot from Southland to 17th Avenue will be closed for cleaning.

A heads up for drivers as sections of Calgary’s Deerfoot Trail will be closed Monday and Tuesday night for spring cleaning, the province said.
Signage will be put up by the province indicating the closures and the cleanup will be done to minimize traffic disruptions.
The closures will remain in effect starting at 9 p.m., but they will reopen for the morning commutes starting at 5 a.m.
Work will be weather-dependent and “may change at short notice, based on conditions,” the province says.
The busy highway will be closed for cleanup on April 29-30 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
