Woman’s death in Redstone suspicious; Calgary police investigate

A woman’s death is being called suspicious after being found in medical distress in a Calgary northeast home Sunday, police say.
Officers say they were called to the home on Redstone Common near Redstone Path at around 9:20 a.m.
“Lifesaving measures were unsuccessful, and the woman was declared deceased at the scene,” police say.
The homicide unit has taken one man into custody.
An autopsy is set for Tuesday, but police are not revealing any information until that time.
As of Sunday afternoon, officers are going door-to-door and speaking with neighbours.
