Man critically injured in daylight shooting in north Calgary

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a shooting in north Calgary on Friday afternoon.

Calgary police say they were called to the 6000 block of Centre Street N around 3 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

A man in his 30s has been rushed to hospital in critical condition.

A neighbour tells CityNews he heard sirens and someone screaming in pain. He says police have been called to the same home at least three other times this year.

There is no word on any suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
